Hi! I'm Melissa and owner of Married to a Trucker. My husband and I have been married for 7 years and have a beautiful 2 year daughter. When my husband started trucking, I searched the internet and didn't find many resources out there that support a trucker wife. That's where the seed of Married to a Trucker was planted. I'm very active on an online message board and felt that the sisterhood of that site would be a great resource to a trucker's wife. I'm Jacque, Co-Founder Married to a Trucker. I am proud to be married to an OTR trucker. I've been married to my trucker since June of 2004, although we've been together since 1997. When he first told me he was planning on driving a truck, I was beside myself with questions and worries. After lots of searching on the web, I found Melissa at another message board and we started sharing our experiences. I truly felt that a website like this would be a wonderful resource and a great source of support for women like us, living a lifestyle so many people don't seem to understand.
